Someone decided my NA looked better withough the Medition emblem. So they pried it off, the paint is all scratched down to the metal in 2 spots. And to top it off they added a nice dent, probably with a nice swift kick. They didn’t even steal the emblem that cost $50 new. It was lying on the ground next to the car.

Damn, that’s fucked up...
Maybe they banged it with a door and scraped it off? That would explain the dent. Still shitty either way though.

What the hell, man? Brand bashing is one thing when it’s anonymous and on the internet, what happened to you, that’s another thing entirely. Be sure to file a police report.

smobgirl’s train of thought is exactly what I was thinking - if it’s an isolated incident, that’s one thing. If there’s a rash of incidents like that, it’s another thing entirely. Also, should you decide to pursue an insurance claim, this will release you from liability of the damage.

Is it too high up for somebody to have carelessly hit with their bumper when pulling in or out of the next space? That would explain the badge being left behind. They probably ran off as soon as they noticed what happened if they even noticed.

No way it was an accident. Looking at it 1st person you can see where they had to dig into the paint just under the edge of the badge to get it off. And the area that it is dented in has no scratches of buffs in the paint compared to around where the emblem was. Also because of where I can park(directly below my balcony) nobody would be maneuvering in such a way to cause this damage.
